Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 pkg cream cheese
  • 1 c. 1/2 & 1/2 or milk
  • 1/3 c Parmesan cheese
  • 1 TBS garlic powder
  • Pinch nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add cream cheese and stir until smooth.
  3. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and nutmeg.
  5. Continue stirring until sauce is smooth and heated through.

Notes

Serve over pasta or vegetables. Adjust thickness with additional milk if needed.
