Baked Spaghetti
Ingredients
- 1 16 oz package spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 32 ounce jar meatless spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cups small curd cottage cheese, divided
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti.
- Cook meat and onion, drain.
- Return to pan, add sauce and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, add Parmesan cheese, and butter in a large bowl.
- Add spaghetti, mix well.
- Place 1/2 spaghetti mixture in a 13x9 baking dish, top with cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, and meat sauce. Repeat layers, cover with foil.
- Bake 40 minutes covered at 350°F.
- Bake 25 minutes uncovered.
