Chocolate Flecked Angel Food Cake¶

Ingredients¶
- 1 package (16 oz.) Angel Food Cake mix
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 package (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions¶
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour batter into ungreased 10-inch tube pan.
- Bake 30-42 minutes or until top is golden brown and cracks feel dry and not sticky.
- Invert pan on heatproof funnel or bottle until completely cool.
- In a bowl, toss chocolate morsels with cornstarch to coat.
- Fold morsels into cooled cake.
- Remove cake from pan.
Notes¶
Makes about 12 servings. Dust cooled cake with powdered sugar if desired.
