Fish Fillets with Lemon Butter Sauce

Servings: 4 to 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen fish fillets, thawed
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1/3 c. slivered almonds
  • 1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. dill weed

Instructions

  1. Arrange fish fillets in 7x12 inch glass baking dish with thick edges toward outside of dish. Cover with wax paper.
  2. Microwave 8-12 minutes on high. Drain liquid and let stand, covered for 5 minutes to complete cooking.
  3. During standing time, microwave sauce as follows:
  4. Place all ingredients in 2 cup glass measure. Microwave about 2 minutes on high, or until butter is melted.
  5. Stir and continue cooking 1 to 1 1/2 minutes on high or until lightly browned.
  6. Serve over fillets.

Notes

Add dill and lemon juice to taste.
