Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • Chicken pieces
  • Bowl of milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp season salt
  • 3/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Place chicken pieces in a bowl of milk for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Mix in a Ziploc bag: 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp season salt, 3/4 tsp pepper, 1 cup flour, 2 tbsp paprika.
  3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  4. Cut stick of butter into a few pieces and place in a 9x13 pan.
  5. Melt butter in preheated oven.
  6. Spread melted butter around the bottom of the pan. Lightly spray pan with oil if needed.
  7. Shake excess milk off chicken and completely coat each piece with seasoning mix.
  8. Place in pan and cook for 20 minutes, turn, and cook 20 more.
