Jena's Pizza Dough

Cook: 12-16 min

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, might need 1/2 more
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 TBS olive oil

Instructions

  1. In small bowl, dissolve yeast and honey in 1/4 cup warm water.
  2. Combine flour and salt, mix with spoon.
  3. Add the oil and yeast mixture and remaining 3/4 cup of water.
  4. Mix on low speed until dough comes clean from sides of bowl.
  5. Turn dough on a clean surface and knead 3 minutes.
  6. Place in lightly oiled bowl for 30-45 minutes. Cover with plastic wrap.
  7. Take dough out and divide either in 2 or 4 balls. Work each ball by pulling down the sides and tucking under 4 or 5 times.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap 15 to 20 min.
  9. Stretch dough out to greased pan and bake 12-16 min at 450°F.
