No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups quick oats
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
Instructions
- Melt butter, stir in brown sugar and vanilla.
- Mix in oats, cook over low heat 2-3 minutes until well blended.
- Press half mixture into bottom of prepared pan, reserve other half for topping.
- Melt chocolate chips and pour over crust in pan and spread evenly.
- Crumble remaining mixture over chocolate, pressing gently.
- Refrigerate 3 hours, bring to room temperature before cutting into bars.
