Perfect Pulled Pork

Servings: 16-20

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs. boneless pork butt shoulder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water
  • soft sandwich buns

Instructions

  1. Combine all seasonings in a small bowl and evenly coat roast.
  2. Place meat in a 5-quart slow cooker.
  3. Add water, cover, and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours or on HIGH for 4-5 hours or until pork is very tender.
  4. Place pork on large cutting board or platter and let rest for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Pull, slice or chop to serve.
  6. Serve in buns with barbecue sauce.
